Jean-Paul Blais founds CRS Express inc.
Carol Gilbert founds Marol Express with a colleague of many years, Marc Rodrigue, who becomes his partner the following year. From the very start, the transportation company experiences phenomenal growth.
Transport Express Beauce, a subsidiary of Marol Express inc., is created to transport palletized goods in the Beauce and Québec areas.
CRS Express inc. adapts its fleet to better meet transportation needs by adding flatbeds and drop-decks.
Carol Gilbert acquires CRS Express inc., with which Marol Express inc. has already been collaborating for two years, in order to succeed Jean-Paul Blais. Thanks to this new alliance, the CRS group now offers enhanced services and covers a large part of the road transport market from Canada to any North American destination.
To counter the lack of manpower in the road transport sector, the CRS Group comes up with an innovative solution by founding CRS Express Logistics inc., which hires brokers.
